We are pleased to announce that we are collaborating with the Michelin-starred chef, Pedro Lemos, to open Casa dos Ecos, a new pop-up restaurant at our Quinta do Bomfim in the Douro.
The pop-up at Casa dos Ecos (Echo House) will showcase the best of seasonal Douro produce. Pedro Lemos will use locally-sourced produce to develop a constantly changing menu over the course of four months – from summer through autumn, including the busy harvest period. The pop-up will serve regional Douro dishes using traditional techniques, including wood-fired cooking. The menu will be matched with our exceptional portfolio of Douro wines and Ports.
Casa dos Ecos is located on a ridge among the vineyards with a magnificent view of the Douro River at one of the our most iconic estates, Quinta do Bomfim – famous for producing Dow’s Ports. Five generations of our family have farmed this estate for over a century. The pop-up aims to create a unique space for people to experience authentic Douro culture in an informal setting.

The pop-up will launch on Saturday 18th July. It will be open from Tuesday to Sunday: 12h00 – 21h00 (until mid-November). The restaurant will operate under the health measures established by the Portuguese government and health service.
