Lages is one of the largest and finest vineyards in the Rio Torto Valley and has long been an important component of Graham’s finest wines. The property is managed by our family on a long-term lease from the owners.

The property is situated beneath a 400 metre altitude ridge. The vineyards are built on a steep slope right down to the narrow river at the bottom of the valley. The vineyards are predominantly northeast facing, which is a considerable advantage in a valley with very high summer temperatures. 40% of the vineyard is made up of old, mixed variety vines which add great complexity and balance to the wines. Part of the property is organically farmed.
