Graham's hosts fourth edition of its Blend Series Cocktail Competition

This week saw the fourth annual Graham's Blend Series Cocktail Competition take place in Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, and the Douro Valley.

The three-day event challenges bartenders and mixologists from all over the world to create new and exciting cocktails using Graham’s Blend Series ports – Blend Nº5 White and Blend Nº12 Ruby.

Each Grand Finalist had won their national competition to earn their invitation, and this year we had participants from: Belgium, Czech Republic, Iceland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland, and the UK.

The trip gave participants the opportunity to learn more about Graham's, our family's history, as well as tasting many of our ports and wines. A trip to the Douro Valley was also very well-received as the group visited Graham's Quinta dos Malvedos.

After Tuesday's tremendous semi-final and final at The Royal Cocktail Club, Roman Mutzner of Switzerland was declared the winner, with Afonso Garcia (Portugal) and Seung Hyeon An (South Korea) taking second and third place respectively.
