Graham’s Port Unveils New Look for its Aged Tawny Collection

The collection’s new presentation combines a vibrant new visual identity with lighter bottles and fully recyclable carton packaging.

Graham’s has introduced a distinctive new look for its premium Aged Tawny Collection, which encompasses The Tawny alongside Graham’s 10, 20, and 30 Year Old Tawny Ports. The new design features a new colour scheme for each of the ports and lighter, fully recyclable packaging.

While the iconic Graham’s Tawny bottle shape remains unchanged, its weight has been reduced by 19.6%. This reduction in bottle weight alone has helped cut Symington’s overall carbon footprint by 2%. The collection’s presentation tubes are also now made from 100% carton, meaning they are fully recyclable. Together, these changes mark another step forward in our family’s commitment to improving the sustainability credentials of our wines and ports, while preserving each one’s distinctive character.

A new colour scheme gives each port its own distinctive visual identity, inspired by its unique flavour profile. The youngest of the four ports, The Tawny, is presented in powder blue, reflecting its youthful notes of dried figs and raisins. The palette deepens with the 10 Year Old, whose blushed coral shade draws on its softer fruit character of dried apricots and orange peel. For the 20 Year Old, warm butternut reflects a more complex combination of nuts, honey and toffee, while the 30 Year Old is distinguished by dusty lilac, chosen to evoke its refined, mature character of fruitcake, walnuts and spice.

Charlotte Symington, Head of Marketing and fifth-generation family member, commented, “The Aged Tawny category continues to be one of the fastest-growing in port, and we wanted to give each wine a visual identity that reflects its individual personality. Following on from the launch of Graham’s 40 and 50 Year Old Tawny Ports, this new and vibrant presentation allows the whole collection to be as expressive as the wines themselves, while also building on our commitment to sustainability and innovation, and helping to push the category forward.”

The new-look collection will arrive on shelves in the coming months.
