Great Wine Capitals has awarded the 2021 Best of Wine Tourism Restaurant in the Porto/Douro region to Casa dos Ecos, Pedro Lemos’ pop-up restaurant at our Quinta do Bomfim estate.
Casa dos Ecos By Pedro Lemos opened in July with the aim of showcasing the best of seasonal Douro produce matched with our Douro wines and ports in a unique informal setting. Using traditional methods such as wood-fired cooking, the menu at Casa dos Ecos has evolved over the past four months in tandem with the changing seasons.
Speaking ahead of its launch in July, Pedro said he wanted to create “a very special space where people can enjoy the best that the Douro has to offer: landscape, wine and food.”
We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award and it is only more pertinent given it coincides with the conclusion of Pedro Lemos’ journey through seasonal Douro produce at Casa dos Ecos. To find out more about the restaurant, please click here.
